Delivery and Returns Information

Packaging:

All items come in our designers’ jewellery boxes or pouches and are gift-wrapped in a green-grey GMUND Wrapping Paper with a “Carolina Meran” ribbon.

Standard Shipping in Germany is free and within Europe on orders over 500 Euros

For all Non-EU shipment country specific taxes and customs might apply. The payment of these will be organised by the transport company and it is your responsibility to pay the transport company according to the additional Import Invoice that we will send you. For customs and taxes for non-EU shipments please also see out T&Cs.

All items are shipped with established and reliable transport partners.

Returns and Free Returns

Returns within Germany and Austria are free of cost. You can return all items within 14 days of receipt, but please note the following conditions for returns:

  1. Returns are only accepted if the goods have not been worn and are not damaged. Please make sure that the Carolina Meran Seal is not damaged. Only take the seal off, if you are sure that you are keeping an item. Unfortunately we can not take the item back if the seal is broken. All items have to be shipped back in one shipment.

  2. If you decide to return an item, please inform us within 7 days of receipt. You can email us at cm@carolinameran.com or send a letter to Meran & Beacock GmbH, Sophienstrasse 5, 80333 München, Germany. Please clearly state your customer number and the order number which you can see on your original invoice. Please note that Carolina Meran is not obliged to take items back if we receive your email after the 7 days period.

  3. We will then reply with an email, confirming the return and will also give you instructions about how to return the items. (not to worry, these are very easy to follow). You then have another 7 days to return the goods to us to:

Please note that Carolina Meran is not obliged to accept the items back if they arrive with us after the 14 days return period.

Please note that we are not liable for the goods (loss, damage, delay of return) if you choose another return method than the one we asked you to use in our confirmation email.

  1. Please make sure that each item is placed back in its original jewellery box and also into the additional outer box. Please do not forget to insert the RETURNS FORM,that had been part of the original delivery.

  2. We will give you a credit card charge-back for the sum of the returned goods (without the original delivery costs) as soon as the items are back with us. The speed of the reimbursement is not in our control and depends on the credit card used - it might take 30 days for the reimbursement.

  3. In case you have ordered from an EU country and the return goes also back to that EU country, the VAT (local sales tax) can be re-imbursed. For returns outside the EU, Carolina Meran can not re-imburse Taxes and Customs fees. However, you can claim these back at your local customs office. We advise you to first ask your tax advisor, as this might not apply to all Non-EU countries.

Return of Faulty goods

Please immediately call us if you receive a damaged item. Pieces are deemed faulty, if they were received damaged or if a fault in the quality is detected within 12 months of purchase. Please note that an item is not deemed faulty if the item has been damaged due to misuse and gross neglect.

If possible we offer a repair of faulty goods. If you would like to exchange your item, please note that you can only do so if we have it in stock or if it is possible to re-order the item. In case we can not repair or substitute the item we will give you a full reimbursement of the original purchasing price. For all faulty articles please contact us under cm@carolinameran.com.

Colours and Make

We tried very hard to represent all goods on Carolina Meran as accurately as possible. However, computers and screens vary, so we cannot guarantee, that the colours displayed will be completely accurate.
